Cape Winelands Full Day Tour
Overview
A full day in the Cape Winelands with at least three wine tastings, across Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek. In Stellenbosch you get an orientation of the old town, Dorp Street and De Braak, time to walk around, and a wine tasting with a cellar tour and cheese tasting on an estate. The route continues through Paarl, past the former Victor Verster prison where Nelson Mandela was held, for a tasting on a second estate, then to Franschhoek for a wine and biltong pairing and the historic village. The Huguenot Memorial is optional, and you return over Helshoogte Pass. At least 12 wines are tasted over the day, with a chance to buy. Pickup from your hotel in Cape Town between 08:00 and 09:00, back around 17:30. Guests under 18 may not drink alcohol.
