Cape Town Township Tour (half day)
Overview
A half-day guided tour from District Six to Langa, Cape Town's oldest formal township, with a walking tour and local entrepreneurs. The tour starts at the District Six Museum, which tells the story of the neighbourhood and the forced removals of the 1970s (the museum is closed on Sundays). In Langa you visit a community school, walk through the township, stop at a shebeen with the option to taste traditional beer, and meet local entrepreneurs. On Sundays it includes a charismatic church service. Morning pickup between 08:00 and 09:00, afternoon pickup between 13:00 and 14:00. The operator's notes say a minimum of 2 passengers.
