Overview
The shorter of Africanyon's guided canyoning trips in The Crags near Plettenberg Bay: river pools, water slides and waterfall abseils. After registration, kit and a briefing at the Africanyon base, a short drive takes you to the river. You make your way down the gorge through shallows and tannin-coloured mountain pools, water slides and waterfall abseils, with qualified guides. First-timers are welcome. Arrive at the base one hour before your booking time for the briefing and gear: late arrivals are left behind. Bring a swimming costume, a towel and shoes you can swim and walk in (the operator rents shoes if you have none). Runs in light rain. From 7 years.
